About Me

I am Director of Music for Windsor Learning Partnership. I work with the 4 schools that are part of our academy trust.

I am based day to day at The Windsor Boys’ School where I have worked as Head of Music for 15 years. I also spend time at Windsor Girls School where I mainly oversee the extra curricular programme. Previously I worked as an artist in residence at TWBS and before that I attended the school as a student. Music in Windsor has been a huge part of my life and I have been part of Windsor Boys’ School since I was 14.

Outside of school life I run a community choir for adults – Glee Club UK. I also work with local musical theatre & operatic societies as Musical Director.

Shows I have worked on as Musical Director:

Kiss Me Kate, The Boy Friend, Carmen, HMS Pinafore, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Les Miserables, Guys & Dolls, The Pajama Game, Sweeney Todd, Calamity Jane and Singin’ in the Rain & Beauty & The Beast.

Currently I am working on a production of Les Misérables with my Upper Schools Students. We have 95 in the cast and it is an exciting process. Next year we are off to Paris again on a concert tour

I have also led several international performance tours with my school orchestra and choir included:

Beijing, Prague, Paris, Belgium.

I am proud to say that the music department has been nominated for a national award for the last 5 years running – Music Department of the Year.

Working in music education is my life and I am so lucky to get to work with amazing young people who have wonderfully supportive parents.

I am married to Amy who I met whilst at school – we were both in the school musical! We have two boys Aidan & Fletcher and they both love musicals – my youngest particularly enjoyed Sweeney!
